Homelessness Sunday

Homelessness Sunday was marked again this year at St Mary's with a lively but moving all-age service. Drama was used to set out some of the causes of homelessness and the stories of three homeless people of different ages were told. Information was shared about the number of people who present as homeless in this area and what we can do to help them. The main focus was on the work of Stirling Start-up, a project of the local churches which donates packs of kitchenware and food to homeless young people when they enter their first tenancy. A collection was made for Start-up and prayers were said for everyone in need.
