Keeping you Safe
Our children and young people are essential members of our congregation. Our hope is to give them space, time, and experiences that help them get to know God. They are always welcome at any of our services and are encouraged to come forward at communion with their parents/caregivers to receive either a blessing or communion.Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is vital and we at St Mary’s are committed to fostering an environment where everyone is able to worship and participate in the life of the church in safety.
We operate the safer recruitment policy of the Scottish Episcopal Church and everyone working with children and vulnerable adults have a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Disclosure.
If you have any concerns, please raise them immediately with the Rector, Nerys Brown, or the Safeguarding Officer, Jill Wisher
